— Jess Pailthorpe, Mindfulness Alive Trainer
About me:
I’m a dedicated Mindfulness teacher, fully trained & accredited with Breathworks, and I first encountered mindfulness & meditation when I walked through the doors of the Bristol Buddhist Centre in 2004. I immediately knew it was a path worth pursuing and since then I’ve committed myself to practice, exploration and teaching. I live with my 2 daughters in a quiet corner of Hereford and have witnessed how Mindfulness & Compassion helps people live lives of greater aliveness, resilience & ease.

Fully Accredited & experienced:
I have undergone thorough training and accreditation with Breathworks, a flourishing international organisation offering Mindfulness & Compassion teacher training since 2004. They’re committed to evidence and feedback of their approach. There’s a particular emphasis on working with the body & mind - in order to help those with pain & illness, stress, anxiety & depression - and helping people to live a more flourishing, alive life.
“Practicing Mindfulness has helped my quality of life improve since my loss. When feeling anxious or overcome by a ‘wave’ of grief, I find it helpful to take notice of my thoughts , paying attention to sounds, breathing and refocusing attention to the world around me. This practice has been enormously beneficial when I feel a sense of being unable to deal with certain unexpected situations that can trigger anxiety. ”
